Just to get ride once for all of those people that still think it's fake.

Here's a video I recorded last night using HyperCam (not FRAPS). In this video you will see the main emulator running, it's output console, the folder with the files in the back and th hypercam window.

NOTE1: The video speed isn't the real speed the game would be going. It's slower due to Hypercam running over it (and using some of the CPU).
NOTE2: The video is encoded in xvid. You will need this decoder installed in order to be able to watch the video.

LINK HERE

Enjoy!

I had no doubt, maybe flying blind here but i still believe and always did.

You didn't even need to give them the satisfaction of proving anything to fools.

Now that i think about it, i don't think it's real either and i might need a beta to get some peace of mind. Laughing

I have uploaded the video to youtube (for news posting on other sites / forums, and you wont need xvid codecs to watch) if anyone is interested in watching it via youtube find it here.

Yay Link's eyes are alien like LOL

I agree it probably wasn't needed to post an actual video because in a way that's really doing what they want isn't it?

What's so important about getting a better working Gamecube emulator out to public anyways? I bet most of these n00bs don't even realise they are breaking laws in the process :p (the ones that complain i mean)

I'm not worried :p Atm I can't even use PCSX2 so I doubt I'd be able to use Gekko either :p But it's nice to pop on every now and then to see how progress is going and stuff :p

Nice work though Wink

True Smile

Small question of interest though, what sort of pc system was that video recorded on? I'm not a speed person or nothing, just trying to get an idea of what hardware it took to get those results? I've read previous posts and stuff about different things mentioned and stuff but yeah :p

The video is Knuckles using his current rig which is a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2Ghz, 7600GS 512MB and Dual Channel 1GB DDR400. For a rig like that those speeds look pretty inviting.

Lol um, so that's a CPU 2Ghz, graphics card 512mb, and 1gb ram in basic idiot terms?

Well you cant really say CPU 2 ghz like that basically, because a P4 @ 2.0ghz will run much slower than a AMD64 @ 2.0 yet a Core 2 Duo at 2.0ghz will run much faster than a AMD64 @ 2.0ghz, its really not as simple as saying 2.0ghz CPU (the same goes for the rest of the components).

Sort of annoything that isn't it? Why don't they have like a generic I guess measurement scheme so u can basically sit two pieces of hardware alongside each other and know without testing them or whatever which one is better :p

I think the closest thing we have to a generic measurement is flops, but even then, I'm not sure how standardized that is across the board, you'd have to ask emwearz that.
