As we are in the process of preparing the next closed beta release (N'Sider), we have decided it would be best for the project to expand our team to include new programmers. The emulator, although very far along in development, is still at a stage where there are many areas of emulation that have yet to even be touched, and the areas that have been worked on are still very incomplete and lacking features. It is simply a lot of work to keep up with with only two developers.
If you are interested in contributing to the project, please let us know what section of the project you are interested in working on (although you will not be limited by this), and your relevant programming experience. If we feel that you will be an asset to the team, we will then welcome you and provide you will all developer access. Any inquiries or questions can be sent to me via forum PM. It's a great opportunity to join a very motivated team (I speak for both the developers, testers, N'Siders, and everyone else part of the project) and a very great community.
In addition, we are looking to enhance the website design. If you have interest in this, and experience, please feel free to contact me as well.
Thank you!

Low Lines: surprised Shizzy hasn't responded yet about the website stuff as I honestly don't know.

Hmm wells I could probably help there, though it depends, I'll say I'm no super expert with making webpages, but I'd be confident at looking at something new and working out how to use it. Design wise, if you had a particular theme or something (ie like how you used gekkos to emphasize your name).
My website, for instance looks and works like the Wii Menu (with channels and that).
I'm not heavy on PHP either but how I learn things is based upon the need to know them when I want to do something in particular you know? _________________ Odds and ends at: http://llref.emutalk.net (Low Lines Resources) |

I started working on the new website... for now I'm keeping the same theme and just trying to integrate everything together. (compat list, nsider section, media section, maybe even the downloads)
The idea is to have everything driven by the forums (phpBB3)
Made a quick install and data conversion in http://www.gekko-emu.com/new/forums/
Started converting the default theme to the gekko one also.
Currently working on mainpage tied to the forum, etc...
Low Lines: if you ahve ideas or wish to contribute, let me know. I'm on IRC most of the nights (eastern time) |

Meh, fiddling with forums code is tedious Looks good what your doing though. Wells if you want anything (graphical wise) I'd be more helpful but yeah ^_^ _________________ Odds and ends at: http://llref.emutalk.net (Low Lines Resources) |

It's not that bad as I'm not modifying original code, I'm adding on top of it. Working with phpbb3s templates is pretty cool.
As for new design, you'd have to check with ShizZy |

Low Lines: We need a new graphical theme. I really like what you did with your website... maybe you'd be interesting in giving our "look" a little revamp. Hop on #gekko on Efnet if you're interested and chat with us _________________ [ShizZy]

You said you are looking to tie in the mainpage with the fourm. You could always do that with a portal. There are several phpBB3 portals now. Back when it first released I forget what portal I used. Sadly those sites are no longer up since my partnership fell apart last year but anyway since I don't think you are looking to switch things up too much then alphaPORTAL maybe the way for you to go. _________________

I can help with web design, not flash but strict CSS and graphics. As for PHP I'm okay with that I'm sure Chrono is a whole lot better though. _________________ My gaming and movie review website! |

I wish I had more experience, this type of stuff interests me a lot. Unfortunately all I've manged is a chip8 emulator and an (unfinished) space invaders emualtor.
A lot of this stuff seems like a "where do I even begin" sort of project. |
